Experience

A longer look at where I've worked, what I owned, and the systems I built along the way.

Pisgah

Senior Software Engineer • April 2026 • Present • Remote

Pisgah is a multi-tenant hospital platform live in over 700 facilities.

I architect and ship production systems end to end, from the interface clinicians touch down to the infrastructure it runs on, powering a hospital's entire clinical operation: triage, admissions, consultations with AI-transcribed notes, lab and pharmacy workflows, HMO claims, real-time nurse-to-doctor paging, and disease-surveillance reporting to health authorities.

On the technical side, I work in TypeScript on Next.js, with Postgres (Drizzle and Neon) for data and Cloudflare for delivery.

Brmarine

Senior Software Engineer • February 2025 • March 2026 • Remote

Brmarine is an international maritime energy logistics company covering vessel ownership, ship management, crew management, and chartering across 35 shipyards on 5 continents.

I built the internal tooling behind vessel architecture, working directly with captains carrying decades of sea experience and turning their judgement into software. The tools supported both the design of new ships and the planning of repairs to existing ones.

On the technical side, I worked in TypeScript with Three.js for the 3D views, OpenCascade as the CAD geometry kernel underneath them, and MATLAB for the numerical modelling.

Porpop

Senior Software Engineer • January 2024 • February 2025 • Remote

Porpop is a multi-vendor international e-commerce platform.

I joined as a mid-level engineer and was promoted to senior after leading the rebuild and migration of the platform's entire database. The project moved Porpop off WordPress and onto a purpose-built application, carrying over 1,000 live vendors and 15,000 products trading across 75 countries.

On the technical side, I worked in Next.js and Go, on Postgres and AWS.

miningmex

Software Engineer (Contract) • February 2023 • November 2023 • Remote

miningmex is a mining company extracting gold, iron, and other resources.

I was brought in on contract to build an internal tool for field engineers, plotting the coordinates of mineral deposits in the soil so survey teams could locate and record them on site.

On the technical side, I built it in TypeScript and Python.
